  I graduated from there this year, this is my favorite school! They have a points system where you do assignments, quizzes and tests for a certain amount of points and 75 points to pass each class. If you want to work and attend high school at the same time, this place is great! If you want to attend college and high school at the same time, this place is great! If you want to graduate early and it being your responsibility on when you get things done to graduate, this place is great! If you want to have a great head start in getting ready for work/college, this place is great! If you aren't convinced yet, ask other people who have been there.

  I don't know about back in 2005-6, but at this point Alta Vista and Middle College offer excellent alternatives to Mountain View and Los Altos High Schools. We've had experience with all 4 schools. Talk to the Principal and the staff, don't pre-judge things or accept others views.
